Banditos

August 10, 2017 at 6pm

Banditos.png

Originally from Birmingham, AL, Banditos is a group - more like a gang, actually - of six 20 somethings, nowadays operating out of Nashville, close to, and simultaneously very far away from, the gleaming towers and industry hustle of Lower Broad and Music Row. From backwoods bluegrass, to slinky nods to Muscle Shoals soul and unexpected bits of doo-wop sweetness, the Banditos recall many, but sound like no one but themselves.

Location Info

The Arts Center’s Festival Green is an open lawn venue. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for their seating comfort. Grounds, food, and beverages open at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday evenings.

Food and beverages are available for purchase on-site at a cash bar and food trucks. No Alcohol Carry-Ins Allowed.

All proceeds from beverage sales at the Levitt AMP Sheboygan Music Series support the concerts’ continued success by helping to offset the high costs of production. Please support this series with your purchases.

Why aren’t alcohol carry-ins allowed this year?

This year, all concerts are on JMKAC’s property. We carry our own liquor license and carry-ins are not allowed because they jeopardize our license. All proceeds from beverage sales at the Levitt AMP Sheboygan Music Series support the concerts’ continued success by helping to offset the high costs of production. Please support this series with your purchases.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, but please keep them monitored at all times.

Can I bring food and nonalcoholic beverages?

Yes!

Where are restrooms located?

Portable restrooms are located on the corner of N. 7th Street and Wisconsin. In addition, you may use the restrooms located inside the Arts Center.

Parking

Parking for this series is available on N. 7th Street, New York Avenue, and N. 8th Street; after 5 p.m., parking on the streets is free. There are also two municipal parking lots, Lot 14 to the South and Lot 15 to the North. These lots are reserved parking from 8 a.m.–5 p.m., but offer free parking evenings and weekends. Parking availability adjacent to the concert space and within a two block area accounts for approximately 500 stalls.
