Experience the haunting beauty of orchestral avant-garde trio Olive Tiger.

Olive Tiger was founded in 2013 after founder Shannon Kiley (vocals, cello, guitar, loopers) moved back from sunny Tallahassee, Fla. to her home state of Connecticut—and immediately got snowed in. Now based in greater New Haven and Brooklyn, Kiley—stage name Olive Tiger—is joined by Jesse Newman (violin, electronics) and Dane Scozzari (drums). Their unique, melody-driven sound is influenced by eclectic artists like tUnE-yArDs, Radiohead and Joanna Newsom.

In May, the group released a new single, “Dark,” inspired by serendipitous moments in the quiet hours before dawn. Watch out for Olive Tiger’s debut album Until My Body Breaks, planned for release in August.
