The F.L.O.W.

August 15, 2016 at 6pm

Homegrown punk, soul and rock band The F.L.O.W. features renowned singer/songwriter Khadijah Mohammed.

After touring the world as a lead supporting vocalist for Lenny Kravitz, Luther Vandross, P. Diddy, The Dave Matthews Band and other musical icons, Mohammed was encouraged by her close friend, former Bad Boy Entertainment Group executive Shawn Prez, to turn her hand to songwriting. The talented songstress founded The F.L.O.W. (Following the Light Of the World), finding inspiration in the rich musical heritage of her hometown, Asbury Park.

Mohammed returns to her childhood musical playground this summer, rocking the stage with her band, which includes Jameison Ledonio (guitar), Devone "Da-Vine Tuch" Allison (keyboard), Deronn “Bash” Woodside (drums), Lionel “Mo Bass” Boone (bass), Kindra “Rose” Brown (backing vocals) and Kaitlin Wright (backing vocals). The F.L.O.W.—currently cementing its musical presence on the Jersey Shore music scene—performs originals and covers with infectious grooves.
