Due to the excessive heat, this concert will take place indoors at the Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute.

Multiple award-winning jazz singer Laurie Dapice’s began her career in her hometown of Utica, NY, and her smooth vocal stylings have taken her far. She began her journey training with internationally renowned tenor Pasquale Caputo, who happened to live in her hometown. She later moved to New York City to continue her education at Mannes College of Music and the New School University of Jazz and Contemporary Music. In 2008 she was chosen as one of New York City’s top 12 jazz singers to compete in the Jazz Mobile competition.

Since then she has performed in some of the most renowned jazz venues throughout New York City, with and for legendary jazz musicians including Billy Harper, Barry Harris, George Mesterhazy, Michael Kanan, Rufus Reid, John DiMartino, Benito Gonzalez and many others. This unforgettable songstress has also received accolades from ASCAP, Billboard magazine, and the USA Songwriting Competition.
