New York’s Slambovian Circus of Dreams began as an art school project in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., and evolved into a renowned festival-headlining band with a sizable cult following. Playing upbeat alt-roots rock with an extensive instrumental arsenal (accordion, cello, mandolin, theremin), the band pioneered the alt-folk genre and have toured extensively around the world.
Slambovian Circus of Dreams play “mightily impressive and hugely original rock from the cool end of Americana,” according to Maverick Magazine. They’ve frequently been labeled “the hillbilly Pink Floyd” – a moniker they’ve happily embraced. Just one experience at their live shows illustrates how they effortlessly bring people together through the shared experience of powerful music.
